　　书中讲的是古巴的一个名叫桑地亚哥的老渔夫，独自一个人出海打鱼，在一无所获的84天之后钓到了一条无比巨大的马林鱼。这是老人从来没见过也没听说过的比他的船还长两英尺的一条大鱼。鱼大劲也大，拖着小船漂流了整整两天两夜，老人在这两天两夜中经历了从未经受的艰难考验，终于把大鱼刺死，拴在船头。然而这时却遇上了鲨鱼，老人与鲨鱼进行了殊死搏斗，结果大马林鱼还是被鲨鱼吃光了，老人最后拖回家的只剩下一副光秃秃的鱼骨架
　　海明威为什么没有让老人最终胜利呢？。这就是《老人与海》想揭示的哲理。不可否认，只要是人就都会有缺陷。当一个人承认了这个缺陷并努力去战胜它，这才是最重要的。因为一个人的价值是在过程中体现的，即使什么也没收获到，那也是胜利。
　　老渔夫就是敢于挑战自己的胜利者，他有着无与伦比的勇气和信心，他是最棒的，老渔夫无论是失败还是成功，他都是一个胜利者。
　　因此我们要怀着一个勇往直前的勇气和信心去面对挑战，那才是真正的胜利者。

　　自从读了这本书之后，我知道了自己的不足，学习上不再因为一两次不顺利而失去信心，而是越考不好，就越要考好，老人与海，读后感，短的。今后，我不管遇到什么困难，都要信心十足地去面对，坚持到底，决不退缩。我要感谢这本书，感谢它让我学到了那么多知识，感谢它让我懂得了那么多道理，感谢它让我知道自己的不足，及时改正自己的缺点，使我成为一个对社会有用的人。不妨将鲨鱼看作打击，吃掉我们的成功和幸福。但正如那孩子说的：它没有打败你，它没有。一个真正的强者，只能被摧毁而不能被击败。永不言败，这就是《老人与海》告诉我们的。
